Permanent & Corrective
Cosmetic Makeup
What
is Permanent & Corrective Cosmetic Makeup?
Permanent and corrective cosmetic makeup uses the ancient art of tattooing to
create a safe
, natural-looking alternative to the daily routine of makeup.
What
types of makeup does this replace?
Permanent and corrective cosmetic makeup is most frequently used to enhance eyebrows,
eyeliner and lip color. Many other procedures are available; ask your nurse for
details.
- Eyebrows: Permanent
eyebrows offer fullness and definition. From retouching a small
area to total brow recreation, look better and never touch
an eyebrow pencil again.
- Eyeliner: Permanent
eyeliner may be applied in many styles and colors, from a soft
and natural-looking enhancement to a defined line. Imagine
waking up, showering, swimming or exercising — and always
looking your best!
- Lips: Full
lip color can appear in natural or more vivid hues, and will
give lips more definition, correct uneven lips, minimize wrinkles
or make the mouth appear fuller and more attractive. Wear full
lip color alone or add different shades of lipstick or lip
gloss for a brighter look.
- Other
options: Permanent and corrective cosmetic makeup
may also be used to camouflage scarring or beauty marks.
How
long does it take?
Each procedure takes between one to two hours, with a scheduled follow-up visit
to do any touch-up work and to insure your overall satisfaction with your makeup.
How
does it work?
Permanent and corrective cosmetic makeup works by having permanent pigments injected
into the dermal layers of the skin. Different techniques are used depending on
the look desired. The result: permanent, time-saving, waterproof makeup —always
fresh and new!
How
safe and painless is the procedure?
Strict sanitation and adherence to OSHA and CDC safety guidelines, along with
topical anesthetics and a relaxing atmosphere make your permanent and corrective
cosmetic makeup procedure as safe and comfortable as possible. All Skin-Saver
permanent cosmetic makeup treatments are performed in the privacy of a doctor’s
office by a licensed nurse. To schedule treatment or a free consultation, please
